Singing Clay One hundred ways of perfection : Babylon Gallery – Spring 2013

Date: Saturday, 16 March 2013 – 12:00pm – Friday, 26 April 2013 – 4:00pm Ten potters…ten pieces… and their personal vision of what it means to make clay ‘sing’ It may the perfect glaze recipe, a way of centering the clay on the wheel, or a favourite firing method; there are as many opinions as there are potters. This exhibition of wheel-thrown work by East Anglian Makers will feature 100 pieces, all for sale, ranging from bowls and mugs, to vases and sculpture. The one proviso is that every work must be thrown on the potter’s wheel. Gallery closed on Mondays !
