A Husk of Hares is a touring exhibition of painting, photography, and soundscapes by artists Roger Coleman, Sue Welfare, and John Wiltshire, together with the people of the East Anglia Fens. The hare is one of the most iconic creatures of the Fens. At once instantly recognisable and at the same time mysterious and elusive, it has fired the imaginations of Fenland people for generations and inspires a longing for our own lost connection to the natural world.
