Change of Leadership at East Cambridgeshire District Council

A new leadership team is set to take East Cambridgeshire forward after Councillor Peter Moakes, who has been Leader of East Cambridgeshire District Council since May 2011, decided not to seek re-election.

He is to be replaced by Councillor James Palmer whose election as Leader by the Conservative Group will be reported at the Full Council on 14 May.

The Deputy Leader will be Cllr Charles Roberts who represents the Stretham ward in the district.
