Landlords and letting agents are getting the chance to catch up with the latest developments in the housing rental market this October.

East Cambridgeshire District Council is holding a special event especially for landlords – whether they are new, have many years of experience or are simply looking to rent out their property – on Tuesday 15 October at the St Mary’s Church in Ely from 4pm to 7pm.

Prehistoric Copper Mining in Britain – 21st October 2013

Date: Monday, 21 October 2013 – 8:00pm Ely and District Archaelogical Society lecture by Dr Simon Timberlake of Cambridge University Some 12 Bronze Age mines have been examined. The radiocarbon dates from the mines indicate a relatively short phase of widespread prospection dating from the very beginning of the 2nd millenium BC.
