With Community Land Trusts growing in popularity as a way of helping local communities build new homes – a planning application in East Cambridgeshire has just been approved.

Members at Planning Committee at the District Council approved the planning application in principle from the Stretham & Wilburton Community Land Trust.

Get fit outdoors for free this summer

Active Ely – a free weekly exercise classes and a summer holiday programme aimed at getting everyone active is coming to Ely Country Park from next week.

The goal of the project is to raise the levels of fitness in East Cambridgeshire with all the health benefits this will bring.

The classes will be led by a qualified fitness instructor and aim to be fun, motivating and are designed for people of all abilities.
