Follow trails and search the footpaths for insects with your explorer backpack.  All included in admission price. Raphael Wallfisch plays Dvorak Cello Concerto – 1st October 2011

Date:  Saturday, 1 October 2011 – 7:30pm Location Ely Cathedral The Gallery Ely CB7 4DL United Kingdom See map: Google Maps One of Britain's best known and loved international masters of the cello, Raphael Wallfisch, returns to Ely Cathedral on Saturday 1st October to play one of the most poignant pieces in the cello repertoire, Dvorak's 2nd cello concerto in B minor, accompanied by the area's best-known orchestra, the Ely Sinfonia. The concert, which will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of the year for Ely Sinfonia and Ely Cathedral, also includes Wagner's stirring overture to Tannhauser and the ever popular Hary Janos suite by Kodaly. Cost:  Premium tickets for the concert cost £20 and include a reserved seat, a free programme and entry to a private drinks reception to meet Mr Wallfisch before the concert (at 6.45pm). Other tickets cost £15, £10 and £5. Concessions (students, pensioners and unwaged) cost £7 in the £10 seats.
