This December, Oliver Cromwell House is inviting visitors to a special ‘Puritan Christmas Party’.

The event on Saturday 19 December from 2pm, will offer a glimpse at what Puritans got up to at this time of the year and see how families celebrated behind closed doors.

This guided tour will provide the answer as to whether Cromwell really did ban Christmas and allow visitors to learn when the Christmas traditions celebrated today were first introduced.
