Register of Elector forms have been delivered to over 37,000 households during the last few weeks and give details of the eligible electors in the district.  These are a combination of Household Enquiry Forms (HEFs) and Individual Registration Forms (ITRs) which need to be returned.

The electoral registration system is changing this summer

Residents in East Cambridgeshire have made a great response to the biggest change to the electoral registration system in nearly 100 years.

Over the summer, homes across the district have received a letter explaining how the introduction of the new, more secure, system of Individual Electoral Registration.

Thousands have already responded by registering themselves to vote as individuals as opposed to the old Victorian system where the ‘head of household’ registered everyone living in a property.

National Mills Weekend – 9th & 10th May 2015
