Talk David Hyde Ely Art Society – 8th March 2013

Date:  Friday, 8 March 2013 – 7:30pm David is a self taught professional artist who lives in St Ives close to the river Ouse on which many of his paintings are based. He has a passion for the countryside and wild life and which reflect in his wonderful paintings of these subjects. David uses watercolour and acrylic and his skilful use of both these mediums show in his detailed but free expression of his work. David runs work shops and painting holidays here and abroad. The Ely Art Society is a group of artists and art enthusiasts, who meet monthly. A Husk of Hares is a touring exhibition of painting, photography, and soundscapes by artists Roger Coleman, Sue Welfare, and John Wiltshire, together with the people of the East Anglia Fens.
