Visitors to Oliver Cromwell House in Ely this Easter can take part in a special event to learn about how the Lord Protector changed how the nation marked Easter.
 
The Easter Family Event on Saturday 4 April at 11.30am will allow people to join a guided tour of Oliver Cromwell’s House to learn about the origins of our Easter Traditions and how things altered under Cromwellian rule.

‘Be a chorister for a day’ – 7th March 2015

Date:  Saturday, 7 March 2015 – 10:00am – 1:15pm 'Be a chorister for a day' Ely Cathedral's first 'Be a chorister' day in 2015 will be on Saturday 7 March from 10am to 1.15pm approx. Any young boys currently in the year 2, 3 and 4 age groups are most welcome to attend with their parents or guardians. Please note that there is no charge for this very special event, but we do need to know how many people to expect. Lunch is provided for everyone as part of the programme.
