To help kick start the ‘Clean for The Queen’ campaign, East Cambridgeshire District Council is offering residents the chance to borrow the tools to take on the trash.

Clean for The Queen is a campaign to clear up Britain in time for Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday, which will be officially celebrated later in June this year.

You can start now and also take part in the Clean for The Queen weekend on the 4th, 5th and 6th of March.

Local businesses encouraged to sign up to help district’s young people

With hundreds of students coming to this year’s annual East Cambridgeshire Careers & Skills Fair, local businesses are being encouraged to sign up to meet the best young talent in the district.

The event brings Year 11 and Sixth Form students from the four secondary schools in East Cambridgeshire and Kings School Ely the chance to talk to the top employers in the district through speed networking, Q&A sessions and exhibitions.

Local businesses unite to help 1000 young people

Next week, hundreds of students and businesses will be coming together at the first annual East Cambridgeshire Careers & Skills Fair.

The event will give around a 1,000 Year 11 and Sixth Form students from the four secondary schools in the district the chance to talk to 50 of the top employers in East Cambridgeshire through speed networking, Q&A sessions and exhibitions.
